This is the third soap for our trilogy to the Indian exotic fragrances. In India this is known by many names, Kewra, keora or kewda . It is basically an essential oil distilled from the male flower of the screwpine tree. The flower is also used in cooking and the flavors are used in food and drinks. Many describe its fragrance as sweet and fragrant, very similar to a rose flower. Though we find it way more intense and that’s why wanted to capture this essence in a luxurious handmade soap. Kewda oil blends beautifully with other oils and forms the base of so many ittars or attars. The Kewda luxurious handmade soap has a sweet and deep floral fragrance and a lovely addition of Jojoba oil and Shea butter. In addition to the active base ingredients, Jojoba oil and Shea butter lend their own benefits to the soap.
